Supporting our customers

We’re owned by our members for our members. This means we don’t have shareholders to pay, so we can reinvest our profits for good.

Our Inspiring Better Futures vision underpins our commitment to supporting our members and customers, creating an inclusive and diverse work environment and making a real difference in our communities.

Whether it’s offering affordable and accessible products to suit all types of savers, supporting our members with education grants, or giving back to our communities through charity partnerships and volunteering, our vision is at the heart of what we do.

We're proud to have:

Awarded over £28K to 111 young people through our Young Person’s Education Grants in 2023, helping them to invest in a better future

Have long-term partnerships with charities that share our goals to support financial wellbeing, provide access to education and improve life chances

Working with charity partner RedSTART, supporting their work to improve financial education for primary school children across the UK

Apply for a Young Person's Education Grant

The costs of education and training can be a barrier to many young people and their families. This is why we offer OneFamily customers the opportunity to apply for a Young Person's Education Grant of up to £250 to help meet these costs, when they would otherwise struggle without financial assistance.

There are two rounds of Young Person's Education Grants per year.

In each round, applications open one month before the draw takes place.

Grants are awarded following a randomised draw.

Terms and conditions apply.

We've made some changes to how we run our Young Person's Education Grant draws

  • From 2025, draws will be run twice per year
  • The application window will open for one month ahead of each draw. Please check this page to find out when applications for the next draw will open
  • We've extended the eligibility criteria, so applications can now be made on behalf of recipients that are aged 11-19 at time of application
  • Each application will entitle applicants to be entered into one draw. However, unsuccessful applicants may reapply for future draws
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to enter into correspondence about individual applications, except when we require additional information to support an application

The Young Person's Education Grant application window is currently closed
The next application window will be open between 1 - 31 March 2025.
