What is Yoti?

If you’d like us to transfer your Child Trust Fund or Junior ISA money to your bank account (when it matures), we’ll first need to do a quick security check to make sure we’re not sending someone else your money.

We use an app called Yoti to do this. You can download Yoti to your phone and use it to upload pictures of ID documents, such as your passport or driving licence.

Yoti is already being used to check ID in nightclubs and supermarkets, so once you’ve registered you might find it useful to prove your age or identity elsewhere.

Download the Yoti app on the App Store or Google Play.

Alternatively, you can withdraw money by simply asking us to post you a cheque – but please first make sure we have the right address for you in your online account. You won’t need to use Yoti if you choose this option.
